Here is an easy Burnz approved dog treat recipe!
**Burnz is my puppy
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée (be sure to use real pumpkin, not the pie filler)
- 1/4 cup unsalted and unsweetened peanut butter
- 1/4 cup water ( I double the water)
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
- Mix in the pumpkin and peanut butter, then slowly add the water. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour. If it’s too dry, add a small amount of water.
- Roll the dough out to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface and use a knife or cookie cutter to cut out whatever treat shapes you desire.
- Place the treats 1/2 inch apart on a nonstick baking pan or a baking pan lined with parchment paper. I am too lazy and do not do the part that is bolded I just knead the dough with my hand and make little flat balls/circles.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Let the treats cool and then let your dog have a taste!
So who doesn’t love Target! I just went and found so many goodies ❤ Below is everything I tried on; I linked everything that I was able to find on their website for you guys. I was absolutely obsessed with the dress that I found and it's under $25! Side note: I linked the jeans I tried on but I do NOT recommend them! I loved the fit but they weren't comfortable and they were also see-through.
**hair tie and shoes are not from Target
My hair tie is no longer in stock but it’s from Free People!

Hey Friends! So you guys have probably heard of Red Dress though social media, they have strong ties with some well-known bloggers. Well, I decided to share my thoughts on the company. Let me start with telling you guys about when I started shopping at Red Dress! I started shopping here the summer before my freshmen year of college for recruitment outfits. Long story short my white dress I ordered was see-through and I was too lazy to return it. Due to this experience, Red Dress fell off my radar. Then about last fall, I started seeing Red Dress heavily recommended by several bloggers that I followed at the time and decided to give it one more try. I loved the items that I purchased and ever since I have continued to shop with this company. Some items are hit or miss like any company but overall I love their products.
-Great customer service
– Easy online returns
-Products are up to date with current trends
-Constantly comes out with new products
– Every time you receive your order there is a handwritten note
-Lots of blogger post on their stories about their purchase helping you determine if the cost is worth it
-Some products are hit or miss
-Have to spend $50 to get free shipping
-Jewelry is on the cheaper side (in my experience only ordered jewelry once)
I ordered 5 items from Red Dress; two tops during their labor day sale, followed by two dresses and a romper yesterday. I received my two tops and let’s just say I’m obsessed. I am the type of person that NEVER can bring myself to spend money on tops. I’m always shocked at how expensive they can be. I finally pulled the trigger and bought them. I justified my purchase because I knew I could wear them to work yet also out with my girlfriends or a fun date night. The two dresses and one romper were honestly pretty impulsive and I probably didn’t need them but I could not help myself (I will add to this post with more details on those items once I receive them).

Hello Friends! I moved into my first apartment with my fiancè this July and we are finally settling in. We had a lot going on this summer ( engagement, weddings, new puppy, graduation, and a new job). I will make a separate blog post talking about some of the other things that happened this summer but right now I want to talk to you about how I decorated the apartment on a budget!!
First off I made an inspo feed! My inspo feed was created on Instagram. How I created it was by searching home decor and saving all the images I liked to a home decor folder ( you could even make subcategories like bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, etc). This helped me find a theme for my whole apartment. I did this BEFORE purchasing anything to eliminate impulsive shopping on items that I didn’t need or wouldn’t end up matching my overall aesthetic.
After making my inspo feed I found out I liked:
– Neutral colors
– The farmhouse look
– Gallery walls
-Wooden decorations/ furniture
Once I found out what I wanted my apartment to look like I formulated my budget and looked at stores that would have discount furniture.

From there I looked at the things my fiancè and I already owned then started shopping!
Healthy Eggo’s ( Banana Pancakes )
If you are like me and feel like you never have enough time in the morning especially to eat breakfast! Then continue reading because this might just be a morning lifesaver. This recipe has saved my life because it is filling, healthy, and tasty..
Let’s Get Started
-Kodiak Honey Buttermilk Pancake Mix
-3- 5 Bananas
– 3 1/2 Cups of Water
Pour the entire box of pancake mix into a bowl and set aside.
Peel bananas and break into pieces and place into a bowl and mash them up using a fork and set aside.
Now add 3 1/2 cups of water to your pancake mix and mix until batter is a smooth consistency.
Add mashed up bananas to your pancake mixture and mix the two together.
** if you like your pancakes sweet add some maple syrup to the mixture. I find the mixture flavorful enough without it.
warm-up your pan and your pancakes are ready to be made. My batches make 12-15 pancakes.
Once your pancakes are all made let them cool for 10 -15 minutes. Once your pancakes have cooled you can individually pack them into ziplock bags and place them into your freezer for the morning or anytime you’re feeling like having a tasty treat.
** To be eco-friendly you can use reusable plastic bags.
Place in Microwave for 45 seconds and tada you have a healthy breakfast ready in 45 seconds.
I prep these every Sunday night for my fiancé and I to have for the week. Sometimes I mix it up and use blueberry’s, chocolate chips, peanut butter banana (messy reheat), and bacon and maple syrup (longer prep). I call them my healthy Eggo’s and yes I know they are not waffles but the name stuck in our household so we call them our healthy Eggo’s.
